On March 19th in Livigno be held the 29th edition of the Trofeo delle Contrade, one of the most traditional events of the year. In the evening race on cross-country skis along the central roads in Livigno, which will be especially covered with snow for the event. This race is open to all residents born before 1993.

Competitors, strictly residents of the country, will be divided into several categories including that of district (Contrada): Forcola, Teola, Saroch, Plan da Sora, Centro, Ostaria, Comunin Pemont e Trepal, which like every year since 1980, will challenge to win the trophy.

Participants at the race, young athletes and adults, can choose to be dressed in the local typical costume. A tourist attraction with a strong social component that leads to the traditions of Livigno.
