Swiss National Park
The Swiss National Park (Parco Nazionale Svizzero) covers an area of 172 sq m. It is located in the Engadine, i.e. in the region to the furthest East of Switzerland. It is a high-mountain park mostly characterized by uncultivated land, alpine meadows, forests and mugo pines (aka mountain pines).

A wild landscape where nature has been completely free on its own. It is well-known thanks to its rich flora and fauna. In fact, the park’s territory there are no less than 30 known species of mammals and over 100 species of birds including the golden eagle and the bearded vulture.
