La Sgambeda – The International Cross Country Skiing Marathon is an annual event that takes place in Livigno and is also the first Fis Marathon Cup of the 2008 / 2009 season.

Every year thousands of athletes from all over the world descend upon Livigno to compete in the gruelling 42 km race, or the Mini Sgambeda covering 21 km .
